HSBC Tower WC Refurbishment
Canary Wharf, London
When it comes to refurbishing an iconic building like the HSBC Tower in Canary Wharf, innovation and style are key. That’s why HSBC turned to interior film as the solution for their outdated washrooms. The black tiles and bright white cubicles were screaming 90s vibes, so it was time for a change.
HSBC was excited to take advantage of the key benefits interior film brought to the table – cost savings, durability, and design options. Working alongside a team of experts, including Wagstaff, ABS, ISG, and Arcadis, the project was carefully planned and executed. The washrooms were completed in under a week per floor, and the results were sleek and modern. The cubicle doors, IPS panels, dividers, walls, and sink units were all wrapped in interior film for a dramatic transformation. The old vanity unit top was replaced with a new corian top, adding even more elegance to the space. Thanks to the innovative use of interior film, these washrooms are no longer stuck in the 90’s.
The HSBC tower’s transformation was not only a complete success but also a testament to the endless possibilities of interior film. Over 12km of film was utilized, saving over 100 waste skips from going to landfills. What’s even more impressive is the £40k cost saving per floor, making a total project cost saving of £2m. It’s clear that when it comes to quality, our film is second to none. This project proves that pushing boundaries and thinking outside of the box can lead to enormous benefits and can help our clients make a meaningful difference in their bottom lines.
